08 Sep 8/9/20 – New date set for Accountancy Europe meeting on ‘Implementing ESEF’

Accountancy Europe has set a new date of Monday 12th October 2020 for their event to discuss the opportunities & challenges of implementing ESEF (European Single Electronic Format).  The event will now take place virtually from 1-3pm (CET).  The event was previously going to take place at their Brussels offices in March 2020 but had to be postponed due to Covid-19.  As at the date of writing, the agenda has yet to be published.  However, if the agenda is similar to the one from the cancelled March meeting it will include discussions on ‘What is expected from the Statutory Auditor (with respect to ESEF Tagging)’ to ‘Are Stakeholders ready for ESEF’.
